What It Is & How It Works

The Blade Guard was primarily designed as downtube protection for mountain bikes.

It utilizes an innovative two-layer 3D-printed thermoplastic construction to provide unparalleled protection:

• The Damping Layer: The inner layer is constructed from flexible TPU featuring an advanced "gyroid" internal wave pattern. This structure absorbs and dissipates the kinetic energy of trail impacts before it can reach your frame, all while utilizing air gaps to keep the guard incredibly lightweight.

• The Impact-Resistant Layer: The rigid outer shell is made from a tough TPU/Nylon hybrid designed to deflect high-velocity projectiles and debris.

Because the system is modular, you can seamlessly snap together a front guard, internal sections, and a rear guard to create one continuous shield or break them up into smaller, targeted pads for high-wear cable rub zones. Length is fully adjustable to fit any frame length, resulting in a custom fit.
